A real-world event is recorded with a panoramic camera and array of microphones. 2. The separate streams of video and audio are "stitched together" and encoded as a Quicktime movie. 3. The user creates the DIVE using the DIVER desktop application. 4. The DIVE is posted to WebDIVER where it can be viewed and commented on by others.      Note: The process for creating non-panoramic movies is the same as above, but does not require panoramic equipment or the stitching together of separate media streams.
